Annual Golf Tournament Benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

The 14th Annual Door Control Services and Door Controls USA Golf Tournament began with a group of DCS employees who got together on sunny days and relaxed with a round of golf. This soon became a routine and the group wanted to make the golf outing a tradition benefiting a charity. Door Control Services has been a long time friend of the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. DCS not only services and maintains TSRHC's doors, but also has employees who have benefited from the hospital's services in many fashions. The first years of the golf tournament were comprised of 8 employee teams raising $1,100 to $1,819. As the golf tournament gained momentum and Door Control Service's desire to give and raise more funds for TSRHC, the golf invitation was extended not only to employees but customers and vendors to include the entire DCS and DC USA families.

Thirteen years later, the once small golf tournament has grown by leaps and bounds into an anticipated event raising thousands of dollars and bringing awareness to the amazing services TSRHC provides to Texas children at NO COST.  2017's tournament was Door Control Services' and Door Controls USA's most successful tournament to date raising an astonishing $27,380.15.

Weekends begin with Fall Feral Follies and the Hog Queen Coronation and continue with a morning parade and afternoon cook-off with live music.

On festival grounds, there will be a variety of vendors selling wares and food, a catch-a-pig contest, and a hog-calling contest. The festival is free.
